HOW TO FIND A LOST OR STOLEN ANDROID PHONE??
Losing a phone is a very stressful experience. Not only does it cut off your access to the rest of the world, but your phone is the most personal device you own. And we all know that smartphone has become primary need in our daily living and replacing it is a costly nuisance.
So if your Android device is lost or stolen, you have a few options to help find it. Here I am going to use google services to find a phone. Lets get through it.
At first you will need a desktop or laptop.
1. Go to your browser. And after opening it go to the top right corner of the screen. Here you will find a square shape of 9 dots, click there. Then click your account which will appear in first row of a first column.
3. You will see the list of devices that is connected with your email account. Now click on the device that is lost. (Your device must be connected to the same email that your browser is connected to). Google FIND MY DEVICE policies will pop up and you must accept it. Google FIND MY DEVICE will search for the location of selected device if it is connected to any network.
4. After searching for the device, it will designate exact location of the device. And in the map you can see my device's location which is the exact place where your device is.
You also have other options like ringing your device for 5 minutes in its full volume even if your device is in silent mode. For this feature to work click PLAY SOUND.
You can also send a message and phone number to a treasure finder(device finder) so that you might get connected and this action is performed by clicking SECURE DEVICE. This action will lock the lost device with the message you typed and self originated message Call Owner. Be sure to provide phone number along with your message.
